Manuel J. Álvarez is a Director and Counsel in the General Counsel's office of Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC. For more than twenty years Mr. Álvarez has been advising businesses regarding the structuring, negotiating and documentation of financing and derivative transactions including transactions in the commodities, insurance and longevity markets and other transactions and general matters involving Latin America and the international capital markets. He is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia University School of Law.
