Planned Giving
1841/1905 Society
By notifying Fordham Law of your legacy gift, you will become a member of the 1841/1905 Society.
As a member, you will be recognized for your extraordinary dedication to Fordham Law at special events, will be listed on donor honor rolls for the entirety of your legacy gift, and will inspire the same generosity in others.
How to Join
The following types of commitments, confirmed in writing and subject to certain restrictions, qualify you for membership in the 1841/1905 Society:
- A bequest in your will or revocable trust.
- A life-income gift that names Fordham as a remainder beneficiary, such as a charitable remainder trust or a charitable gift annuity.
- A charitable lead trust that provides income to Fordham for a donor’s lifetime or a term of years.
- A gift or assignment of qualified retirement plan assets, such as an IRA, 401(k), or 403(b).
Please let us know if you have already included Fordham Law in a bequest or other planned gift. We acknowledge and respect those who wish to remain anonymous but urge you to inform us of your plans confidentially.
