PCS Transfer Students

Fordham University’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS) is dedicated to meeting the academic interests and practical needs of students.   • Our classes are usually one evening a week, on weekends or online and students can attend classes in our  Bronx, Midtown, or Westchester campuses.
  • Flexible credit transfer and credit for life experience. You may be closer than you think to the 124 credits required for a bachelor’s degree. We accept up to 75 transfer credits and up to 30 credits for professional, life, or military experience. Students may also sit for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and DANTES exams.

  • A valuable degree; a valuable network. More than 100,000 Fordham alumni work in the greater New York area, in every sector. As part of this loyal network, you will have access to alumni chapters, events, and directories.

  • Small classes. The average class size is 15, so you’ll know your teacher and classmates and receive whatever support you need.

  • Quality instruction. All instructors have a master’s degree or doctorate in their subjects. Most are practitioners in their fields who have insights and contacts to share.

  • Affordability. We will work with you to find scholarships, loans and grants. Tuition reduction is available through the Good Neighbor Initiative. Our goal is to make a Fordham education possible for every qualified student. We also cover 100 percent of tuition and fees for qualifying veterans through the Yellow Ribbon program.

    New York City's largest green campus is 85-acres of rolling lawns, tree-shaded walkways, residence halls, athletic facilities, and Gothic-style buildings in the North Bronx, adjacent to the New York Botanical Garden, across the street from the Bronx Zoological Park and just 30 minutes from the cultural and academic resources of Manhattan.

  • Westchester

    Fordham Westchester is a three-story, 62,500-square-foot building on 32 landscaped acres with a stream and pond. The campus offers parking for 250 vehicles and access to public transportation. It is on the White Plains border, just off Interstate 287 near the Hutchinson Parkway and Route 684. The campus includes 26 newly designed classrooms with such technological features as smart boards, teleconferencing capabilities, and brand new seating and learning areas.
