Advanced Placement Scores
If you have not already done so, please ask the Educational Testing Service to send your AP scores to the Office of Admission. These scores are needed to plan your fall schedule. Scores of 4s and 5s may count for core or elective credit.

Your academic advisor or your class dean will discuss how many credits you will receive and what courses may be substituted by your AP Scores.

International Baccalaureate Scores
Fordham may grant credits for scores of 5 or above on Higher Level exams. Please have an IB transcript sent to the academic advising office by following the instructions at ibo.org/iba/transcripts.

Academic Help Centers
FCLC offers a number of help centers for students, all free of charge, in writing, mathematics, economics, and many modern languages. You can always stop by during your professor’s office hours to discuss ideas and concepts covered in class—or new ideas that have come to you.

Tutoring
Tutoring is available in Modern Languages and Economics. If you need a tutor, please contact Kerri Maguire at 212-636-6381 in Room 925.

Math Help Room
The Math Help Room is run by full-and part-time faculty from the Department of Mathematics. The Help Room is located in Lowenstein, Room 302F, and is open during posted times for eight hours weekly. No appointment is necessary.

LC ’s Writing Center
The Writing Center provides free one-on-one tutoring for any phase of the writing process. The Writing Center welcomes walk-ins but encourages appointments. Day and evening hours are available. To make an appointment, go to fordham.edu/writingcenter and follow the instructions. If you have any questions, please call 212-636-6417 or stop in at Lowenstein, Room 302E.
