Phase 1: How to Pay your $200 Housing Deposit

Due Thursday, February 15 by 4pm.

  1. Log onto My.Fordham.edu
  2. Click the Students Tab under My Pages.
  3. My Accounts
  4. Student housing/Housing Deposit Payment
  5. Select the Term (Fall 2024).
  6. Pay by credit card or electronic check. The deposit amount is $200.
  7. Print out your payment authorization confirmation for your own proof of deposit.

Please note: If you are having difficulty paying your deposit online, you can pay in person at Financial Services on the 2nd floor of Lowenstein. If you have questions, please contact The Office of Residential Life at [email protected].

Housing Deposit Waivers

Residents who are eligible for deposit waivers due to special scholarship programs must email the Office of Residential Life by Monday February 12. stating the office and administrator that is responsible for paying your housing deposit. Please keep in mind that this is the responsibility of the student to inform Residential Life about any housing deposit waivers.

Things to remember

  • Students must make a $200 housing deposit by Wednesday, February 15 by 4 p.m. A charge will NOT be added to your student account. 
  • Late deposit submissions: If you do not submit your $200 Online Housing Deposit by the February 15 deadline, your housing is not guaranteed. Students who deposit late will be placed in post-room selection and assigned over the summer months if a space becomes available. If you withdraw before June 1st you are able to get a refund for your housing deposit.
  • First-Year Core Programming: If you did not complete your First-Year Core Programming requirement, you will be entered into post-room selection. You will not be allowed to participate in the regular room selection process with your friend(s). In addition, no space can be held for you in a particular room or suite. If you wish to return to housing for next year, you still must submit your $200 online housing deposit by the February 15 deadline.
  • Residential Life Probation: Students on Residential Life probation are not able to participate in Room Selection and will be placed in housing over the summer months as long as they pay their Fall 2023-Spring 2024 housing deposit.
