Hi everyone! I’m Armughan, and this semester, I’ll be studying abroad in Granada through Fordham’s partnership with the Universidad de Granada. Currently, I’m a junior studying Computer Science with a minor in Political Science, so I look forward to exploring how these interests intersect while immersing myself in a cultural environment that is completely new. Having never been to Spain, my Spanish definitely needs a lot of work so I am particularly excited to use my time abroad to improve it through daily life experiences. I can’t wait to meet new people, explore new places, and find my place in Granada. I’m very glad that I get to bring you all along!

Japan, Spring 2025
Hello! My name is Christophene, and I am going to be studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan with Temple University! I chose this program because as a Visual Arts major, I wanted the opportunity to take art classes that I feel align most with the creative mediums I want to explore in Japan. Also, I have a strong passion for food and cooking so I am excited to try new foods and cook some amazing dishes.
I’m excited to spend the next four months living in Tokyo and completely immerse myself in another culture. I’m looking forward to figuring out the train system and exploring as much of the island as possible!

Morocco, Spring 2025
Hello! I’m Claire, and I’m studying abroad in Rabat, Morocco with Amideast. I’m a junior majoring in Humanitarian Studies and double minoring in Biology and Peace and Justice Studies. I’m really looking forward to all of my classes, as well as eating amazing food and exploring the country! I’m learning Arabic, which is one of the main reasons why I chose this program; even though the Moroccan dialect is quite different compared to other MENA countries, I’m still super excited for this opportunity to experience the culture and broaden my understanding of the region. I can’t wait to share my experience with you all!

Hi! My name is Kaila Chin, and I am currently a junior at Rose Hill double majoring in Computer Science and New Media and Digital Design. I will be studying abroad in Scotland at the University of Edinburgh this semester and could not be more excited. I chose this program not only because it offers a variety of opportunities and courses for both my majors (especially computer science), but also because of the city’s rich culture, history, and landmarks. From the winding, cobblestone streets to the beautiful Highlands to the looming castle, I cannot wait to explore the city and its architecture, search for my favorite coffee shop, and visit the unique and historic shops in Edinburgh. I am so excited for this opportunity to meet new people, travel, and learn while abroad this next semester!

Costa Rica, Spring 2025
Hey! My name is Megan and I’m a junior at FCRH studying Environmental Studies with a minor in Peace and Justice Studies. This spring I’ll be studying abroad in Costa Rica through The School for Field Studies’ Ecological Resilience program! I’m super excited to get hands-on experience with the country’s amazing biodiversity and to do things I can't do in New York. I chose SFS because of their unique approach to a semester abroad, which includes intensive field work and a deep dive into Costa Rica’s sustainability efforts. I can’t wait to experience the culture of Costa Rica, and to be able to share what I’m up to!

Hey! I’m Om and I’m a junior Gabelli student studying abroad in London this semester! I chose to study abroad because I wanted to live and explore a new country and to study in a dynamic city. I chose London specifically because of the diverse selection of courses that are offered and to have the ease of the Fordham education while studying abroad, signifying Fordham's emphasis on ‘cura personalis.’

Hey! I’m Paula and I am going to be studying abroad in Australia this semester with the University of Sydney! I am a junior DTEM major and Marketing/Disability Studies Double Minor. I’m most excited to escape the cold and be in close proximity to all the arts, culture, and nature in a vibrant new city! I chose the University of Sydney due to their pioneering of my course of study, Design Computing, and their rich knowledge of the digital media industry in general!

Singapore, Fall 2024
Hello! I am Youssef and I will be studying in Singapore this fall semester through Fordham’s Partner program with TEAN Singapore Management University. I am a current senior at Fordham studying Global Business with a Tech concentration.
I am an amateur Chef, so I am most looking forward to diving into the food scene this semester in Singapore and learning how to make some local classics.
I chose this program because growing up in New York, I knew any time spent abroad would have to be in another cityscape. Singapore is perfect as I get to have that global metropolitan experience while being in close proximity to visit some of my other dream cities like Tokyo and Seoul!

Hello! I’m Quincy, a junior at Rose Hill double majoring in International and Environmental Studies. This fall I will be studying in Berlin, Germany at Freie Universität through the FU-BEST Fordham partner program. Berlin is a vibrant place for up-and-coming innovations, especially in sustainability, which is why I’m excited to study abroad here. I really look forward to exploring the variety of architecture and events the city has to offer.

Hey everyone! My name is Lola and I will be studying abroad in Amsterdam, Netherlands through CIEE. I am a rising junior at FCLC majoring in Psychology and minoring in Public and Professional Writing. I chose Amsterdam for its incredible natural beauty, thriving art scene, and rich history. The University of Amsterdam also offers really unique electives for my major, like The Psychology of AI. I am so excited for all of the amazing friendships and adventures this semester will bring. I can’t wait to share it all with you guys!

Hello! My name is Upama and I am a current Junior studying Global Business with a concentration in Digital Media and Technology. I will be studying with Fordham in London this fall. I am looking forward to traveling around Europe and getting to know the diverse communities that reside in London. I’m also really excited to visit historical sites and go to the many museums and theaters. As the London Global Ambassador, I can’t wait to show you guys my journey through my lens ;)
I chose this program because as someone who grew up in NYC, the bustling city life of London is not too different from what I know so while in a new place, I’ll still have a strong sense of home!

Hey! My name is John and I am going to be studying abroad with the Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart) in Milan, Italy! I am looking forward to backpacking through the Dolomites, learning about European business culture, and traveling to my great grandparents hometown in Southern Italy.
I chose Università Cattolica because I wanted to be connected to a historic and religiously affiliated institution like Fordham. I plan on studying Italian Catholicism while in Italy and this University will allow me to complete this goal with ease. I also will have the opportunity to be right in the middle of Italy’s financial center, furthering my coursework and showing me new perspectives on the role of finance internationally.

Hi! My name is Aurora Marcianti, I am a rising junior Psychology and Political Science Double Major at FCRH. I am so excited to be spending my summer with the Fordham in London programme!! I am most looking forward to exploring everything there is to do in London! It has always been my favorite city to travel to and I always find new things to do! I am most excited to see shows on the West End, especially Romeo and Juliet with Tom Holland, as well as visiting all of the castles and learning about the royal history of England. I ultimately chose this program due to its location and for the ability to travel throughout Europe in my spare time!

Hi! I’m a rising sophomore studying abroad this Summer in Rome, Italy, through Fordham’s Documentary Photography program. I’m undecided but leaning towards the New Media and Digital Design major. I chose this program because I’m incredibly passionate about photography, and spending a summer dedicated to my art in a place as gorgeous as Rome is a dream realized. Hi, I’m Matt, and I’m studying abroad at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business in London! I’m currently a sophomore majoring in finance, making London a clear choice for me. I’m extremely excited to meet new people, experience different cultures, and expand my comfort zone. This will be my first time out of the U.S. and what better way to do it than explore all that London and the rest of Europe have to offer. Hello, my name is Grace Yearwood! I am currently a junior majoring in Environmental and Humanitarian Studies at Fordham College at Rose Hill.
I will be studying abroad in Capetown, South Africa, through the School for International Training. I chose the School for International Training because they offer a lot of unique programs, many of which are geared towards my interests in the environmental and humanitarian fields.
I am most looking forward to meeting new people with similar interests, learning about South Africa, immersing myself in the culture, and exploring the area, especially the outdoors.

Hi everyone! I’m Erika, a junior double majoring in journalism and history and minoring in economics. This spring, I’ll be studying in Nagoya, Japan, at Nanzan University’s Center for Japanese Studies!
I chose Nanzan University for the many opportunities it allows me to practice my language skills outside the classroom– from letting me stay with a host family to going on field trips to other parts of Japan.
Nagoya is a city steeped in history as well as a hub for innovations in art, business, and technology, so I’m beyond excited to explore all that it offers and share my experiences with you. I also hope I get to see the cherry blossoms in bloom this season– fingers crossed!

I’m so excited to be studying abroad at University College Dublin at the School of Social Science as a double major in philosophy and political science with a minor in music. I chose my program because I wanted a rigorous academic experience while also being in a beautiful environment. I am super excited to try out a more traditional college experience. Some of my classes will have up to 200 students! Compared to Fordham, UCD is a huge school, so I hope to meet many new people. I am looking forward to starting 2024 in Ireland!I am looking forward to focusing on more domestic travel and getting to know the personalities of each Irish country throughout my stay. Maybe I’ll even learn to speak some Irish!

I chose New Zealand because it will be a different experience than what I’m used to, and I’m excited about this change.

In the spring semester, I will be studying abroad through Fordham in Granada at El Universidad de Granada! I’m in my junior year, and double majoring in Journalism and Latino Studies. I’m really excited to work on my Spanish speaking so right now, I’m most looking forward to meeting my homestay family, making new friends, and exploring the city, and the second-most exciting is probably going to be filling up an entire suitcase with thrifted European clothes while I’m there. I chose this program because I love to travel and I’ve only visited Europe once, so I’ll have much to explore and discover while I’m there. Plus, I knew I wanted to be in a Spanish-speaking country, so the choice was obvious!

Hello everyone! My name is Peyton Crowe and I am a sophomore at Fordham Rose Hill studying Film and Television. This month I will be sharing some highlights from my time studying abroad in Granada, Spain. This is my first time ever traveling abroad so I am eager to soak up as much of the different cultures as possible and immerse myself in all sorts of new experiences!
