Stefano Marsaglia

Stefano Marsaglia is the co-founder and CEO of Azzurra Capital, an international private equity firm. Prior to Azzurra, he co-founded the private equity firm Peninsula Capital, where he was managing partner for five years.

Previously, he spent 40 years working in the investment banking industry in London and in New York. His most recent positions were executive chairman of Mediobanca CIB, chairman of Financial Institutions at Barclays Bank, and global partner at Rothschild.

Throughout his career, he advised on many of the largest M&A transactions, stock market flotations, and privatizations in Europe and beyond. In 2015, he was knighted Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Italian Republic for his contribution to the financial services industry. Marsaglia is a graduate of the University of Economics and Commerce of Turin.
