Future Leaders of AI

July 21-25, 2025 Rose Hill

Explore the exciting world of AI and its potential impact on the future in this immersive 4-day summer program. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on activities, guest speaker sessions and a personal interest project, participants will come face to face with the powerful potential of Artificial Intelligence while developing an understanding of specific ways that AI can be harnessed in an area of special interest.

• Learn to code for AI
• Participate in hands-on projects using AI
• Meet professionals and students from across the region interested in the same topic

• What problem can AI help you solve? By working in small groups, you will develop a project that applies AI concepts to address a real-world problem or challenge.
• Presentation skills: At the last meeting, you will present your project ideas, allowing you to showcase your understanding of AI principles and demonstrate the potential positive impact of AI towards a problem or opportunity of special interest. 

Instructor Bio

Craig Vezina
Craig is the co-founder and CEO of the Spaceship Academy, winner of the Top Tier Impact Awards at the World Economic Forum’s annual convening in Davos. As an international education leader and impact entrepreneur himself, Craig has deep experience helping schools, NGOs & businesses harness the power of innovation for people and planet. 

He is a regular presenter at an array of global education, sustainability and impact events, including SXSW, ChangeNow, EdTechX, the UN Festival of Action.

Craig received his BA from Bowdoin College, MA from Columbia University and doctorate from the Centre des Etudes Diplomatique et Strategique in Paris.
