Getting Started
As a Fordham student, you have access to an engaged team of career advisors who work every day to:

SOCI 4900 Internship Seminar (CRN 16565)
Fordham students who wish to be coached through the Spring semester and registered for the internship seminar in the Summer Session may Apply Here.
Fordham students who secure internships in NYC or elsewhere on their own and who wish to earn 4 credits (one course toward graduation requirements) while learning to make the most of their professional experience may register for SOCI 4900 L31 Internship Seminar when Summer registration opens on March 3. The tuition for the course is $4,340.
This hybrid class is scheduled for Monday nights, 6 - 9:45 p.m., May 27 - August 5, 2025 at Lincoln Center and online. Most meetings will be online with in-person experiences available at the beginning, middle and end of the semester. The course offers the following benefits:

- Guest speakers for insider experience and networking.
Housing in NYC for 10 Weeks
Fordham students are eligible to live at either the Lincoln Center or Rose Hill campuses over the summer, regardless of their home school. Applications will be available in the late spring via my.fordham.edu.
Move-in: Sunday, May 26, Noon - 6 p.m.
Move-out: Wednesday, August 7, before Noon
Estimated 2025 housing rate: $3,016 (LC for 10 weeks)
Housing rates are finalized in the Spring. A $50 housing deposit is required. If you apply to the Internship program through the link above, your housing deposit will be collected and posted for you. You will then only have to fill out the housing application with Residential Life via my.fordham.edu in April.
Cancellation
Cancellations of housing should be made directly with Residential Life ([email protected], [email protected]) by May 15. Students who cancel housing after this date may be subject to full housing charges. Students can drop the Internship Seminar course themselves via my.fordham.edu prior to the Add/Drop deadline of May 28. Thereafter, the refund schedule articulated on the Tuition and Fees page will be followed.
