  • Brigade Connect: New York – A Networking Event for Student Veterans

    Fordham University’s Office of Military and Veterans’ Services, in collaboration with the Cornell Military Network (CMN), proudly presents Brigade Connect: New York at the Lincoln Center Atrium on April 10, 2025, from 6 - 8:00 p.m.

    This special event brings together student veterans, nonprofit organizations, and key employer partners to foster professional connections, mentorship, and community engagement.

    Registration & Hospitality

    • Student veterans must register with a .edu email for verification.
    • Veterans, industry professionals, and nonprofits are encouraged to share their organization and role.
    • Complimentary food and beverages will be provided. Alcohol will be available for guests 21+ with valid ID.

    Fordham University is proud to host Edge4Vets, a free, in-person workshop designed to help veterans and transitioning service members translate their military strengths into career tools for civilian success. Conducted by the Human Resiliency Institute at the Gabelli School of Business, this program connects participants directly with hiring managers from top companies, offering a clear path to meaningful employment and long-term career growth.

    What to Expect:

    • Hands-on Career Preparation: Work with HR reps and business leaders to identify your military strengths and craft a PLAN4SUCCESS to stand out in the job market.
    • Ongoing Support: Gain access to the Edge4Vets online course to refine your career plan and earn an Edge4Vets Certificate.
    • Job Connections: Receive a list of HR contacts from partner companies and explore job opportunities tailored to your skills and goals.

    This event is presented in partnership with the NYC Department of Veterans' Services, Vets Indexes, NYC-SHRM, and leading employers eager to hire veterans.
