Bring your JROTC unit to Fordham for a day of friendly competition and cameraderie as you compete with other JROTC units in the tri-state area for the coveted Commander's Cup. Rub shoulders wtih the represtatives from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines who are responsible for the ROTC programs and scholarships, and tour the campus in your free time. A great opportunity to test your skills and make great connections to enhance your future.

Eight Events: Compete in some, or all of the challenges:

  • Knowledge Test -2 students
  • Millitary Relay Race- 6-person team
  • Platoon Unarmed Basic
  • Squad Unarmed Basic- 1st year only
  • Color Guard: 1st Year 
  • Color Guard: Varsity 
  • Personnel Inspection
  • All Hands Knockout – Unarmed (Unscored)

I'm not competing but I want to watch - can I come?
Absolutely! Friends, family and all visitors are welcome. Feel free to watch and explore the campus. We will have Fordham ambassadors on hand to provide tours of the campus

What are the details of each event? 
You will receive all the details once you register.

I only have one type of color guard. Will I get lower points in my score?
Your colorguard can compete in both competitions, even if you only have one guard.

Does Fordham have ROTC programs?
Yes - Fordham students participate in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Space Force ROTC programs.

Are there ROTC Scholarships?
Yes - Three, four, and five-year scholarships are available. Fordham matches those tuition scholarships by awarding scholarship recipients with free on-campus housing during the years of their scholarship.

Can I apply for ROTC even if I'm not an incoming freshman?
Yes - Fordham students may join ROTC in their freshman or sophomore year. Some "side load" scholarships are available. Come and speak to an ROTC representative and they'll give you more information.
