Clarence E. Ball III joined the Gabelli School’s faculty in 2014, bringing his wealth of professional experience in communications, teaching, and higher education administration. He is a current member of the faculty in the Communication and Media Management Area. Ball accepted the inaugural director of diversity, equity, and inclusion position at the Gabelli School in 2018. He currently serves as the director of the Corporate Communications High School Pipeline Program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from Tennessee State University (’08), and a master’s degree in investigative journalism from Michigan State University (’11). Ball also holds a professional practitioner’s certificate in diversity, equity, and inclusion from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University (’19). Currently, he is a doctoral candidate in the Contemporary Learning and Interdisciplinary Research program at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education (expected ’24).
