2023 Undergraduate Award Winners Lincoln Center

  • The MAGIS award is based, first and foremost, on academic performance as measured by GPA—but it also requires students to be engaged in the Gabelli School of Business community by participating in student clubs, assisting at admissions events or any of the innumerable opportunities that are available to get involved. The number of awards presented is based upon the total number of students in each primary concentration and how many deserving candidates there are in a particular year.

  • The Global Citizen award is presented either to:

        (a) an international student who has really become immersed in a positive way in our American culture - or -

        (b) an American student who has been particularly interested and adept at exploring the "global" aspect of our "Global Business" major.

    The 2023 Global Citizen award recipient is Jaeri Kim (South Korea)

  • The Dean’s Award recognizes one student’s leadership and remarkable commitment to the Fordham community, while also recognizing stellar academic achievement.

    The 2023 Dean’s Award recipient is Hussein Chebli

  • The Alumni Chair Award is presented to one senior from each undergraduate school who exhibits the ability to inspire his or her peers; who achieves excellence in intellectual and extracurricular endeavors; and who lives out the Ignatian principles which Fordham seeks to instill in its students, such as the pursuit of excellence and a commitment to being a person for others. Above all, the Alumni Chair Award is presented to an individual who exhibits exemplary Fordham spirit and pride.

  • The Dean's Council is composed of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who assist the Gabelli School’s administration in continually evaluating our programs to make the School ever more effective in its goal of offering a stellar undergraduate business education to its students. Council members also interact with prospective students and assist in the creation of new opportunities for current students to socialize and network with each other.
