Cable TV
For Students
Overview
Fordham provides cable TV service free to students in their residence hall rooms.
Administrators can contact the IT Service Desk to request cable TV in conference rooms for a recurring monthly charge.
How to connect
The campus cable service requires a digital-ready television equipped with an internal, compatible NTSC/QAM tuner or an external converter box with an NTSC/QAM tuner.
Stream cable TV
Campus residents can connect to Fordham's wired and WiFi networks to stream their favorite shows on smart TVs, tablets, laptops, and smartphones. Your web browser must support HLS (HTTP live streaming) to connect. You may need to download an HLS plugin for your device.
Streaming services are only available to resident students when they are on their respective campuses and connected to the Fordham wired or WiFi networks. This service is not available via the virtual private network (VPN).
