POSITION: DevOps Business Analyst Intern
SUPERVISOR: Area Manager
SUMMARY: The DevOps division of Information Technology seeks a dynamic self-starter to assist in functional testing and documentation related to student experience applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a full-time Fordham student in good academic standing
- Computer Science or Information Systems majors preferred, but not required
- Reliable quick learner who can work with minimal supervision
- Must uphold, enforce and abide by all university policies
- Ability to work in collaboration with diverse teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft office and Google suite of tools
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with internal teams to obtain understanding of software products and documentation requirements
- Perform functional testing of student experience features of software upgrades, including creating and executing student centric test cases, raising defects and recording results
- Help developers reproduce and debug issues from student experience standpoint
- Produce documentation, user interface text, online help, and tutorials pertaining to student experience applications
- Analyze existing and potential content for rewrite is necessary
- Other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- An effective communicator with strong writing skills
- Self-Motivated, quick learner, good organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize, multi task and meet deadlines

COMPENSATION: $18.00 per hour
