Fordham's summer programs are open to undergraduates from any discipline currently seeking a degree at a US institution. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above, and a clear disciplinary record. Seniors are not permitted to study abroad in the summer following graduation.

Fordham London

You can choose from business courses, liberal arts courses, or a program that combines academics with an invaluable internship experience.
Fordham in Rome
Located in the heart of one of the most vibrant, artistic, and historic cities in the world, Fordham in Rome, Italy, is the site of an exciting and innovative summer study abroad program. Through liberal arts classes, the program will challenge your academic knowledge, opening up a whole world of cultural, societal, and historic experiences.Fordham in Granada
Located in the heart of Andalusia, Spain, Fordham in Granada offers an opportunity for students to participate in an exciting summer study abroad program. Through participating in a liberal arts class or Spanish class, the program will challenge you to engage in a new culture, history, and learning opportunities.
STEM Summer Research Projects
Fordham University has partnered with Arcadia University's College of Global Studies to offer summer STEM research programs abroad. The program will challenge your academic knowledge and critical thinking skills while opening up a whole world of cultural, societal and historic experiences to you. Choose from a variety of summer research programs available through Arcadia Abroad and international partner institutions in England, Spain, Ireland and Scotland.
Bard Berlin Theater Intensive
Fordham University partners with Bard College to offer a summer theater intensive program in Berlin taught by Dawn Saito and Jonathan Rosenberg. The program will foster your creativity and allow for you to work with multidisciplinary artists in Berlin. The program is four-weeks and explores techniques in the devising and creating of original theater works, and immerses students in the city’s theater and performance culture through regular outings to performances, museums, galleries, and other cultural venues.
Global Internships
Over the summer, students have the opportunity to apply for internships abroad through partner institutions like, CIEE, IES, Boston University, and more. Students will need to complete the online Study Abroad application as well as an application through the University or organization that runs the internship program.
External Summer Courses
If you are interested in applying to take a summer course outside of those offered by Fordham University, you must complete the online Study Abroad application as well as an application through the University or organization that runs your program. Many of Fordham's semester study abroad program partners also offer summer programs, so we encourage you to review the many options available through Fordham's existing partnerships.
