9/11 Memorial Museum Career Tabling Event (Tuesday, April 8th 2025, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT)
When: Tuesday, April 8th 2025, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT Location: Lowenstein, Indoor Plaza, New York City, New York, United States Through commemoration, exhibitions, and educational programs, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum remembers and honors the 2,983 people killed in the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993, as well as those who risked their lives to save others and all who demonstrated extraordinary compassion in the aftermath of the attacks. Volunteers play a crucial role in fulfilling the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s mission. A representative from the 9/11 Memorial team will share information about public-facing opportunities available year-round and during summer, where volunteers ensure visitors have a meaningful experience. Volunteering is a great way to build a resume, as well as gain experience with a museum and nonprofit organization. Volunteer positions include Retail, Membership, and Visitor Services. Roles involve 3-8 hours per week, depending on the position, with weekend shifts available.
