Global Diversity and Inclusion Networking Banquet

The Global Diversity Networking Banquet the oldest program for Diversity in the Office of the Career Center held every spring since 2003 gives employers an opportunity to attend a networking reception followed by dinner with students who are interested in opportunities with their companies. Each year the Career Center invites a Keynote Speaker to share their professional experience in regard to Diversity in the World of Work. Previous speakers have included Anthony Carter, Former Chief Diversity Officer Johnson & Johnson, FCRH ’76 , Author Kevin Powell and Congressman Jose É Serrano, Bronx New York.

Global Diversity and Inclusion Panels

The Career Center regularly partners with the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Counseling Psychological Services, and Office of Disability Services, and other Fordham departments and student organizations in developing and offering employer panels on diversity in the workplace, classroom, and in personal growth. Previous panels have covered a wide range of diversity and inclusion topics, from neurodiversity to cultural identity, and have featured partners from Deloitte, KPMG, RSM, Target, and more.

Annual Pop-Up Global Diversity and Inclusion Career Closet

The purpose of this annual event is to provide all students access to new and gently used professional attire for interviews, career fairs, networking events, and the workplace. The Pop-Up Career Closet is part of the Career Center’s diversity initiatives which helps students foster the Cura Personalis within diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces through professional attire. This event is held at the beginning of the academic school year. If you are interested in sending donations please mail or drop off items to the McShane Campus Center, Career Center Office.
